At Nott's the central characteristic of their design philosophy is simplicity. To preserve the beautiful features of the woods, the family design uncomplicated kitchen tools and boards. Tasmania, Australia's southernmost state is the primary source of timber for Nott's products. It is home to many species of trees suitable for the production of fine furniture and objects, species like Blackheart Sassafras, Myrtle, Blackwood, Huon Pine and Leatherwood. Nott's also use River Red Gum which they harvest and mill on the family farm at Euroa.
This paddle is a classic kitchen board used to bring food to the table or to casually share food with friends. It comes in three different wood types:
Huon Pine- is a honey coloured softwood native to Tasmania with striking grain markings and a distinct fragrance
Blackwood - a glossy rich honey-toned timber with subtle grain markings
Red Gum - a deep red colour with a delicately figured surface that will last for many years.
