IAfter rescuing and restoring an eighteenth-century weaver’s house in Spitalfields, Annie and Lachlan Stewart founded the design partnership ANTA Scotland in 1984.
They returned home to the Scottish Highlands in 1990 where they established a workshop learning from and training a new generation of local craftspeople.
Their range, all made by hand in Scotland encompasses ceramics and textiles goods for home and apparel. Much of this is created in there solar powered, energy efficient in-house facility.
Due to the absolutely bespoke nature of the ANTA range production is slow, The Boroughs range has taken months to produce and has been woven to order.
